Ephox Signs Agreement With Vignette

EditLive! Rich Text Editor to Be Made Available to Vignette Customers

LONDON -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 08, 2005 -- Ephox announced today an agreement with Vignette that combines its easy-to-use editing tools with the Vignette content management system. 

Under the terms of their agreement, Ephox's EditLive! for Java XHTML editor will be integrated with a future release of Vignette Content Management. The combination of Ephox's software with Vignette Content Management will provide customers with a host of new tools that make content production and management simpler. In addition, current Vignette Content Management users can immediately use EditLive! for Java and EditLive! for XML "widgets" for Vignette Content Management and tap all of the benefits of the product pairings today.

EditLive! for Java contains exciting new tools. In particular, customers will benefit from a section 508 compliance checker, multiple language support, spell check as you type, image insertion and inline linking from repositories. In addition, EditLive! for Java delivers clean HTML from content that was copied from other applications. Tables and list editing is robust and error free. 

These features combine with myriad usability and feature enhancements added to EditLive! for Java in the recently launched Version 5.0 release of the product. In total, customers will gain access to the most feature-rich, affordable online XHTML editor on the market.
